48) RPCVs do what RPCVs do - public service never stops

I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia from 2008-2010. I will share more about that experience on Substack, at a later date. But, one of the coolest aspects about being a Peace Corps Volunteer is that once a volunteer always a volunteer. This is why people that served in the Peace Corps call themselves, RPCV’s - for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Even though it is approaching the 13th year anniversary since I last was in my host village in Africa, I still have close friends there, and still consider that a home away from home. It is very close to my heart.

 Part of the inspiration for this is because I have friends that always ask me to send them books and magazines overseas. That in itself gets a bit pricey. So the gofundme page is set up to provide the necessary funds to ship over 500 books, and have a little extra money to set up a local community library in the town’s school.
