This is a fascinating look at generations. I want to start thinking about this in regards to both literature produced by these generations as well as the way each generations reads texts.

Very interesting point. I have a friend that is a school librarian, and he says children are now trained to read text up and down, as opposed to left to right (given the iPhone and texting generation we are in).

Also, I was reading reviews on John Meacham's latest Biography on Abraham Lincoln, and part of the criticism of that book is how Meacham seemed to really attempt to write it in a way and paint a picture of Lincoln that would fit these modern times. Not sure if people questioned the authenticity of it, but they felt as if other Biographies better captured the spirit and the times Lincoln was overseeing, better than Meacham's latest book.

Lastly, Kathleen - you are going to love my next review on Klosterman's "The Nineties". That's gonna drop next week.

What you just shared, and my newfound knowledge on this topic is also making me wonder if I should update this piece on NBA Stars across the eras. https://joshpressjakes.substack.com/p/kevin-durant-the-most-misunderstood?utm_source=%2Fsearch%2Fkevin%2520durant&utm_medium=reader2

The nineties!! Yeah, can't wait!

Also I think that is a GREAT idea for your NBA post. You can make it a fresh article to send out.
