Nice! Great video clips. I'm going to have to revisit this page and get to all of them.
Yes, I miss the 80's and 90's NBA terribly. I don't miss the last few years of those Knicks teams though. Slow, faux Pistons rough ball got old really quickly. Watching the NYK win 84-79 was horrible.
I still think the best Riley team was Jackson / G Wilkins / Ewing / Oakley / McDaniel .... a lineup they had for ONE year. Mason and Starks came off the bench. The NYK were winning again and it was a lot of fun.
The new Spurs rookie Wemby - you and I think alike. He seems to be the real thing (particularly on defense), but I wonder if he'll be Ralph Sampson or Steve Stipanovich, or if he'll last.
If I may suggest to you to read my book review on the 1990s Knicks, by Chris Herring. There's an interesting part in it (among many throughout the book), where the Knicks bungled the re-signing of X-Man in the 1992 off-season. https://joshpressjakes.substack.com/p/blood-in-the-garden-by-chris-herring

Nice post Josh. Good stuff.
Thank you, Douglas, my good mensch!

Has LeBron James really been playing professional basketball for that long???
Quite a run he has had.
